wait till you do the same thing to a piece of steel instead of potmetal..DO NOT shoot street signs but that gun has the power to put a serious clang on a stop sign (aluminum)... if it doesn't go through..same goes for car door metal too (thin steel)....
you had the spring broken in several pieces, right?...the one I said probably hadn't been shooting right all a long? and that it would be a lot more powerful with the new spring?
it's a lot more powerful than you think..the matchbox car isn't much of a challenge, try a Nokia, it should put a hurting on it too..the .177 caliber doesn't have much frontal surface to slow the pellet during impact so it will penetrate quite a bit farther then you think it will....
those daisy wadcutters aren't up to what that gun needs....they're great for the lower power multi-pump guns, but these late model hotrods need a MAN'S pellet.... go to Walmart and get some .177 Crosman Premiers in pointed, domed or hollowpoint just whatever in that brand, but "probably not" Destroyers most guns don't; shoot them accurately (but mine does go figure)..
the heavier pellet (about ½ again more than the daisy's) will work much better with the power that gun produces and it's possible that too of a light pellet can damage (EI Break springs) springers, too heavy might be trouble too but the Crossman PRemiers are middle of the road weight wise and $8-9 in 500 count tins ..
THEN shoot a matchbox car...I'd like to see video of that...I have access to a Fury that is in the similar power class (1000fps with light pellets) and I would have to nail the matchbox car down to find it if I shot one with that...and forget about it with my .22 Titan pieces of the car would be halfway down the block...
a quick penetration test is shooting through cans of vegitables from end to end

Yeah!I'll try those pellets!
