Title: Down Under Gunner

Gidday Guys (from Southland, New Zealand)

I’ve hunted all my life with firearms, mostly in our mountains, and have a modest collection of original Mauser sporting rifles, mine are all Model B’s but I am lucky enough to have two of the Kurz sporters.

Recently we have been overrun by rabbits on our small-holding, a wonderful complaint except that 20 years of residential development around us means it’s no longer neighbourly or safe to use a .22 RF to dispatch them.  I also find myself doing less and less marksmanship practise.

So  . . . . I figured a PCP will both harvest the rabbits and allow me to build a range to test my “long range” skills – I can get up to about 120 metres on my land, which should be plenty with the Air Arms S500 .22 I should receive today !!

I am smitten by the bug however and I can see a custom 150 fpe short or bull-pup rifle in my future.
