The tables I had available to me for shooting indoors didn't cut it, so I decided on making one myself.
I based the model on this:

but wanted an ambidextrous style so my right handed son could shoot as well. I found another design that had the basic cutouts so I combined the instructions in the video with my additional requirements.
This is phase 1. I still need to round the corners, sand the edges and finish the surfaces. Those additions will be easier to do now that the wood has legs.
I chose the taller legs which is a little tall even for me, but a taller chair or cushion should fix that.

The surface is made from a piece of 2'x4' 3/4" plywood. Home Depot sells both a bad quality version and a "sandable" version. choose the latter. That ran about $24.
as recommended in the video, the reinforcements on the bottom are both glued and screwed.
I tried it with a predator shooting rest which made the gun higher, so using a bag system might make it more comfortable.
