Hey guys. I picked up four tins of CPHP from a guy this morning and they came in this packaging.

I've never seen these packages before. I've always seen square packages. Is this a new or old thing? There were package numbers so I took a picture.

I'm assuming that this means Lead Hollow Point .22 but does the 510 mean May of 2010?
Anybody know anything?

Actually, Christopher, the 510 is Crosman's stock number for the pellet. The same thing in .177 is pkg#LHP177-511 on the front and pkg#LHP177-512 on the back. This particular package was purchased a month or so ago. It is of the newer square variety.
The LHP designates the pellet type, the 177 is an obvious reference to the caliber, and the last three digits may indicate the date of the design of the package, or they could be a stock number. Since mine has a different number on each side of the cardboard backing I would guess the design (or possibly copyright) date.
