Today I had a couple small jobs lined up, I finished the first early and headed to the second about noon thirty. Arrived and started work, easy small jobs, install six motion lights and a garage door opener. Finished by three and started talking to the home owner as I finished up the safety's on the opener.
Turns out he used to shoot sir guns quite a bit, now cannot pump them and he GAVE ME THEM!! Two rifles and two pistols. He could not put his hands of the pistols, but produced the rifles quickly. A Crosman 2200 Magnum and a Daisy Red Ryder. Both about 25 years old at least. Neither has any number that I could find.
The Daisy was fully loaded. LOL we went behind his house and fired them both, they both worked just fine. Both have some surface rust and corrosion. I had another project with this man and he said he will find the pistols before we meet again.

The 2200 has a Weaver scope and the rear site is broken. The Daisy appears to be excellent, wood on butt and for end, little plastic. It also has a medallion in the stock. Maybe its some sore of commemorative ?

My brother the cop did some detective work for a lawyer friend and the lawyer gave him a 1883 Trapdoor Springfield that was found hid in the attic of one of his rental propertys. It was in vary good shape.
Nice find
