Title: AM77/2100 Stock Options...need help;)
Post by: soolio on October 13, 2013, 02:46:22 AM
Hey guys, I really want to put a tactical 6 position type stock on my AM77/2100 build. I can't seem to find anything about stock options in the searches i've done. I'm open to other tactical options as well. Please let me know. Thanks and happy shooting:) Mike Es

PS I posted a pic of an example below of the type I'm looking for...thanks again;)

soolio, unfortunately working on plastic is very difficult, and i cant see any way to actually get the trigger at the right distance, let alone attach the stock to the receiver. If i am allowed to say, i would say leave the 2100 alone and sell it, then go out and get a m4-177 or the new mk177 (which is about as powerful as your 2100...)

Mike
If you buy one of the tac pumpers, let me know I need some 2100 parts for a project I've got rolling around in my melon.

Thanks

Darren

I think his 2100 might not be a project gun... if he was willing to mod it, i bet is a nice shooter.

Look how the walnut stocks attached on the 2200w with a bolt, seems like it might be easy to fab up an adapter.

Yep, I don't think it's exact but the 2200w/2100w or 2280 stock mounts may give you some ideas... Can you weld? A shaped metal plate with a nut welded to it may work.. You might be able to do something with wood and hardware store parts... I've seen your work... Just do like me and go wandering in the hardware store for an hour...

Have you checked the green? I've seen some neat projects  come from those guys...

Thanks for the help guys...My Remington AM77(same as Crosman 2100) was found in the trash by a friend of mine with a severely bent barrel. I replaced the barrel and cleaned it up. It shoots really good now. I took all of the BB parts off so it's a "pellet only" rifle now. Sorry Darren, I'm keeping this one;)

I think I'll try fabbing up an adapter...good idea K.O.

Mav72...that is one of my favorite pastimes!!! It feels like I've wandered around for days  :o I sure wish I knew how to weld...someday I'm sure;)

LOL! Thanks Chris! But I am human...and like everyone else, I need help sometimes too.

I, like you, am so thankful for this forum and this sweet addiction. It really motivates me to do the best I can with what I got.

I've learned so much from you guys and I can't thank you enough;)

What!? You found an AM77 in the trash? I would have taken it home too....

I've messed with those aluminum bars at the hardware stores... Made some temporary ghetto sights and sight mounts... I even made a car battery holder bracket... They are easy to work with... Maybe you could rig something up with that, fastening hardware, JB weld, and some wood. I know you got skills...
