I picked up a nice little 760 this past weekend in a lot of five AGs at a garage sale. I got all 5 for $20 just for tinkering fodder. The 760 needed the least work so I started on it first. I put a decent 4XAO scope on it and bench rest shot it with 6 pumps at ten meters. Best groups were around an inch and a half due to the smooth bore, I'm guessing. Where is the easiest and cheapest place to pick up a drop in rifled barrel. I would like to fix it up for my youngest grandson but I don't want to frustrate him with a rifle that won't print.

I've changed a couple of them. The M4-177 has a rifled barrel and swaps in perfectly. You will also need the plastic barrel support as they get broken getting them off the old barrel. Just call Crosman for the parts; barrels $8.24, supports $1.00.

Thanks Bill, that's exactly what I wanted to here. I will give them a call tomorrow. I knew someone on GTA would come through for me.

Cool. Do you think you could use the iron sights from the original barrel? I've not looked at one in the flesh.
