Title: Need Seal for My Webley ValueMax
Post by: cbx1980 on October 05, 2013, 08:26:27 PM
Hi All,

Just got a ValueMax in 20 cal. Shot about 25 pellets though it, sounds like the piston is slamming the end of the chamber. I'd like to tear into it, but need a new seal. I tried to PM Pete, but his box is full.
Advice appreciated.

Thanks,
Ken G

It may have the same seal as the Hatsan Striker. Those seals are available from HatsanUSA.

I'm looking for an aftermarket seal, from what I have read the factory seals are undersized. I think the are the same as the Striker 1000 as well. Thanks for the reply.

Replacement seals for Hatsans are unobtainable here in NZ. No worries. I have made my own from polyurethane 90 on my wood lathe but it is a bit of a task for an amateur. The other alternative is to use a standard hydraulic seal. They are made of a blue coloured material and available in many sizes. I use the blue seal on my Hatsan 99 and it is good.
We have a company called Seal Imports Ltd and they deal in nothing else, a whole warehouse full of them. Not a very big warehouse but still a warehouse.
Interestingly the storeman told me that most if not all the seals they have are made in Turkey and the factory is a major world supplier.
