My experience with the Hatsan 1000s Striker has made a believer out of me, which complicates my next purchase. I was planning to buy a Webley patriot from PA in .25 caliber, but now I am also looking at the Hatsan 135 in .25 caliber.
Going by the data on PA, the Webley is more powerful, with a figure of 820 fps to the Hatsan's 750. But do I really need that extra 70 fps? Especially since the Webley costs over $100 more? The primary purpose of the rifle will be groundhogs, rabbits, raccons, crows, and maybe the occasional coyote. Will the Hatsan handle all those? or should I stick with the Patriot?
Would appreciate hearing from anyone who has experience with either or both.

I have no experience with Hatsans but I know my Patriot is a great gun.
And it's very accurate.

Is that a "UK Patriot" or the Hatsan "Turkish Patriot" ?
The Turkish-made gun is somewhat less powerful than the Hatsan 135.

I have both - the Hatsan Webley Patriot .25 and the Hatsan 135 .25. The Patriot was slightly less powerful and cost $120 more. It smoked a little and never cleared up completely. The power dropped and now it must be sent off for repairs. The Hatsan 135/.25 is powerful bargain.

It's a Turkish Patriot.
29 FPE is pretty good I think.
BTW, the Patriot is not made on a Hatsan base. It's the other way around. ;)
