I use weedwhacker line with a patch. I run one wet patch and then run patches until it is dry.

Use a weedwhacker line or a crown saver every time your gun gets inaccurate.

So are you suppose to it everytime your gun is showing accuracy problems?? What if I just shot some crappie pellets through it. Like for example I know that the JSBs Diablo Match 18.3 grn pellets are the most accurate in the Hatsan 125 Sniper. Well the sniper is on the way. But all airguns have through stop dieseling and stuff. So what I was going to do was shoot the cheap 6 dollar pellets tht I have then clean the gun. And shoot the very expensive pellets. Y would I waste 16 bucks???

So is this the correct procedure???

Please do a search of "cleaning". You will find MANY posts with recommendations. This ALWAYS stirs up some debate. Do not use cleaning equipment or solutions made for a powder burner. Please check out the many posts and opinions for the proper equipment, solutions and pointers on safely cleaning an airgun. But basically, it should have a good initial cleaning then not worry about it unless accuracy falls off. THEN try cleaning and re-seasoning the bore.
SAFE & Happy Shooting!!!!

So that's why you're supposed to clean the barrel out of the box....

;)

When the gun is new, you clean out the barrel thoroughly and look for burrs.
After that I clean it every time I lose accuracy.
If it's a new gun break it in with cheap pellets and then clean it.

Thats what I was going to do.

No gun solvents or metal brushes or rods........

Use Goo Gone and patches......

Clean it before you shoot it, then season the barrel with cheap pellets...

No  rods...how in the world do I put a patch down the gun if I cant use a rod??? And is WD-40 considered gun solvent

You thread the line from the breech and pull it out the muzzle.

Weed Wacker Line sharpened on one end and flattened on the other to pull the patches through or order a crown saver to do the same....

Yes WD-40 is a solvent, I use no petroleum products on the inside of my air rifles, WD-40 doesn't get used on my PB's either since it will gum up when heated...

so easy to pull through from the breach I have ask myself why do people bother to complicate this..

20# fishing line tied around a patch or two...

poke it into the breech till it comes out the muzzle

take up slack till the patch is at the breech end.

wrap 4 or 5 turns of slack on a screw driver and pull.

use a drinking straw for guides where needed ...

eeezy peeezy....been doing this way since I was a kid in the 70's with a 760...tie up 5 or 6 to start with and go bang busters with them in no time...

blow though..again, why so complicated?

load up 4-5 cleaning pellets and BANG! into an old towel.

4-5 times...

eeezy peeezy....quick but costs 20X of the pull through and you don't get any "feel" for what is going on
in the barrel...my Titan was a lot smoother at ~1000 shots (200-300 shots ago) than when it was new

I made mine out of weedwacker line ,but I flatten the end in a vise or vise grips would work also. Then heat up the end of a big sized paper clip and melt the patch threading hole into it. Just make sure that the diameter of the wide end is smaller than your bore. This allows you to pull a tighter patch through so you get down into the grooves of the rifling a little better in my opinion
