OK guys my next gun is coming up, and I want to add a quality break barrel to the collection. As far as I can tell they are the same gun, just different names. Can anyone tell me, if there are any differences in the 2. Thanks
Tom

I think it's the same gun, Tom.
The R11 is the Beeman import and the other is the Weihrauch factory name.
Looking at your list of guns in your sig, I'd say a 98 would look great in your collection!
Excellent choice. 8)

I kind of thought they were the same. Joe said that he is bringing his to the shoot. That will give me a chance to try one. Whatever one I get is going straight to Scott. Joe loves what he did for his. One thing I noticed was the R11 is more money then the 98. My last new gun turned into implements for the tractor. Not this time, need to feed my addiction. HA HA

Sounds like you're set on one so I'd get an HW98. ;)
This addiction never stops! ;D
It's basically a deluxe version of the R9/HW95.

Either sounds like a fine choice for a high quality break barrel, especially since they are the same gun. I've wanted to try one and see how the adjustable stock and barrel weight make it feel. They have a reputation for accuracy, and that's what really gets my attention. ;D

I can't say enough about the 98 Tom!! Not pellet fussy, shoots great off the bag and powerful. Just as a curate as my TX and solid like a rock! Awesome shooter!!

I can not speak of any differences, personally.
I just don't get who's going to buy a Beeman 97k or R11? Both very fine, indeed.
But the R series were different as they had muzzle breaks and are for scoping, only. Well, duh...both models I mentioned are that way straight from ViRock.
Save the dough for your glass and get them from HW.
PS- While I still want one of those, don't discount the LGV 2012. Finish isn't as nice, but shoots pretty well. The Syn. models are lighter (even though I generally like extra weight since I'm a bencher).
