Title: Question from a newbie

Hi guys wanted to ask you for a thing i stumbled upon , i havent shot my gun in  quite a while and when i did the piston seal gave up.Ordered a new one and a spring also, butt when the parts arrived and i measured the spring the new one was 20 mm shorter and a pretty snug fit on the spring guide.I was wondering if i assemble it this way would it improve it's accuracy level and smoothness  over the stock spring ?

there is one way to find out...install it. A tighter fit will make it less twangy and length doesn't matter to much....
