I have 5 Leaper’s scopes, four are the 30 mm tube, but with a 50 or 56 mm objective. I have replaced two of them with Hawks 30 mm tube scopes.

For their price range they are not to bad of a scope. Mil dots are a little thick. A little blurry, but for almost half the price, they will do until they get replaced.

i have the 3x9 of that one. nice thin reticle and very clear. however i have a 3x9 bugbuster and the reticle is thicker. my understanding is there is a way to tell in the product code what reticle it has.

meuller is making excellent glass at a nice price.  not springer rated

peace

I have that model on my .177 Venom Dusk.  For the price point it is very good.  I recently ought a Hawke for my Mrod and it is apples to oranges.  Im not knocking the Leapers. I would buy another.  Looking at a bug buster fir my pistol.  The 36 different colors is a waste IMO I never use it.  Red and green are fine for me.  If you can afford a couple of extra dollars get the larger side wheel for it.  If not you could always add it later if you feel like you want it.  The reticle is not that bad either I have seen thicker but I have also seen thinner.  Zeros well and holds it on my gas ram springer.  I also like the finger lockable turrets. No tools need to adjust.  I think you will like it. I dont feel it was a waste of money even after using my Hawke. I wouldnt put a $300 Hawke on my $180 Crosman but thats also just my opinion

Edit - just compared the part numbers.  I have the 3-12x44 sorry its not exactly the same scope you were asking about.  Hope my info helps you anyway.

I had 2 of the 3x9 UTG bugbusters but my Stalker broke them.

I have 2, one on my Venom Dusk .22 and one on my Ruger 10/22. So far, so good. I like the scope. I like the reticle and it's good and clear. I don't use the lighted reticle much, but it seems to work fine.
