Title: Optimum Scope length for HW97
Post by: snakebite4767 on September 07, 2013, 08:30:47 PM
Is there a "Best" length for a scope on a HW97?... I have a 97 on it's way, and need to get a scope on it's way too, but don't know if a long scope makes it hard to load.

Pick a scope appropriate for your needs. Even if the objective bell is positioned over the loading port, you can still load it. It just takes some practice. If you want to avoid covering the loading port, stay under @14.5" in length.

Yo Snake. I put a pretty large glass on mine. Just about covers the loading port. I have no issues loading. Get the scope you want. As the Chef says loading won't be a prob. After a few pellets you can do it with your eyes closed bro.
The pic shows how much of loading port is covered by the scope.
Good luck!! The wait isn't much fun!!
