Title: Hw 45
Post by: k-man on September 07, 2013, 05:41:33 PM
Well i took the plunge and got the 45. It is a tank and shoots pretty sweet. It really diesels at first but after 200 or shots its calming down a bit. I lubed the the spring and cocking arms and sighted in on paper today. Not at all dissapointed with the accuracy. I can easily hit silhouette chickens at 25 feet all day long. If your used to shooting .45 acp this feels similiar.   For the money i hope it lasts a long time!    K-man

When I was in the right frame, mine was very accurate.

I put a new seal and a JM spring in mine.   I shot a bit slower, but accuracy was superb, and recoil and sound were much tamer.  Cocking was easier as well.

Comparable gun in accuracy is a Webley alecto Ultra.   Cheaper feeling, cheaper price tag.
More power, less recoil.  Comparable weight and balance.

The HW will most likely outlast the Alecto........

God bless and congrats,,
