I've been wanting to buy a Fenix in.22 but have been waiting for some more feedback on Cometa's.
-
I had one and returned it and it was a good shooter mine was shooting between 750/765 fps with 14.3 grain the reason I returned it the breech block was rubbing on both sides of the wood and the bluing came off. If it wasn't for that I still would have it.

Thanks for the feedback Mpac, and from the lack of feedback it doesn't seem like anybody has anything to say I will leave them alone for now. Fine looking pieces tho. Thanks again.

I have two RWS 94s - .177 and .22. Both are very accurate. Nice triggers. Very smooth shooting. No need to tune.

Agree with everything Joe D said; I also have a 94 in .177. It is a pleasure to shoot, actually it was a nice surprise. I bought it from the YF classifieds in very poor cosmetic condition. It looked like it had been riding around in the empty bed of a farm truck. Think it was 75.00 or so. I was amazed after cleaning it up how well it shot. I've left it open sighted as they work quite well as is with a very crisp sight picture. If the new ones are anything like this, they are a winner, tk

I would be happy with a 94 but they appear to be last winters snow as I have not seen any go up for sale. The new cometa's looks are what drew me to them, but haven't been able to find much about them other than marketing hype and was looking more for hands on from actual users of the newer ones.
Thanks for the replies guys, JW

I'm pretty new at Air Rifle, but have shot and familiar with a lot of center fire, So for the price, I was pretty impressed. This was maybe 12 yards with only about 75 pellets through the rifle so far. I posted this same picture earlier on this forum due to the fly I missed

I put nylon bottons in the piston and goes smoth, the shot is nice and have a nice trigger.
Mine shoots between 780/785 fps with 8,4 grain Cometa Jsb pellet (12ft/lb) and I used for Hunting Field Target.

I have a RWS 94 also in .177, I had a .22 also but sold it, I bought them both new a week a part. Got the 177 first was so impressed I ordered the 22 cal also. They both shot/shoot great! 1/4-1/2 at 30 yards after they broke in. I kept the 117 for the sole reason because it was a bit quieter, wish I still had the big brother also. I don't know about the newer models but the triggers on these are nice, mine breaks at a crisp 2 lbs. I have no regrets about mine, if the new models are anything like these it should be a good gun. I returned 4 other brands that were said to be "good" guns, 2 of which cost more, they just didn't compare to the model 94 in anyway shape or form.
