Title: Extreme .45 Loving It

Went to range this am and feeling great about fall coming up. Just mounted a new Burris Fullfield II 2-7X35 scope with Ballistic Reticle. Shot this group at 100 yds with 250gr REAL bullets sized to 457 with 3200 psi fill and getting over 800 fps. Next thing will be to cast some 270 gr Lee flat nose from a mold that I have coming from a great friend who modifies the stock 452 mold. Shot some of his 270's and they shoot as well or even better than my 250 REAL's. Plan to put the heavy spring back in and load to 4000psi and she how she does. Hoping to push these to around 900fps.

Very nice...one day, or you can just send me yours for some in depth high altitude testing.  I will get it back to you in a year...lol.

You should def get 900 with the 270 gr rounds I get 925 fps at 4000 psi and I have a 27" barrel.I know how you feel Ray...Im getting excited as"well ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
