Hi guys...!!!
here it goes... I suffer from GAS... and got myself a benji trail NP (495FPS version).
shooted about 200 pellets with it so far...
I really enjoy the gun... its not bad at all... but yeah... paid around 400$ TAX in shipping in...
and im about to spend 50-100$ on it to increase the FPS to the regular US spec ''800-900'' FPS
I live in Montreal Canada.
my question goes as following... I got this gun for pest control, like the fact its all weather... BUT I didnt do my study and now wondering is I should start looking for other options at this price... and return this gun...
what do you guys think??? I need expert opinions :P

forgot to add, gun should be under 500FPS. I want the model number to show as 500FPS. even if I have the PAL.

with a U.S. spec gas ram the NP will only shoot 14.3's at 748-750 fps.
Plenty of power to go pesting.

For that much you can get a detuned weirauch, which is completely different (much higher) level from crosman

If you would like to keep the 495fps stamped, then stick with the gun, so much al ready invested.
The library is chalk full of tuning info, tune it, make some barrel shims or buy the ones from scopes and ammo ( only cause gene's are us only). This way it will be a slick machine, also get the GRT111 trigger blade, great upgrade.
From the big box stores you will not get any of the higher end models, they will be online orders only.

Where do you get brass washers? None of the local hardware store has any, and a set from scopeandammo costs almost $40 after shipping and fees.

you have to make them.
Need to find some thick brass washers from somewhere like tsc stores. then size them.

get some brass shimstock at a good quality auto parts store. check the thickness needed and then get brass stock and cut out washers. you can buy shim stock in about any thickness needed and size too.dont go auto zone, but 1 of the better parts stores

any time petey . 2 horse town? we just have 1 donkey in our town and he is sick too. if you have a napa , car quest, or any parts stores like that they usually carry brass shimstock. autozone don't carry stuff like that only stuff that has a vin number to it. I don't even go to auto zone . seems like they sell junky cheep stuff, I belive az is a breakoff of walmart as I look at their labels and they look a lot alike. I even scanned a label in walmart from az and the price poped up

We used to have a donkey... I think it was thrown out of town for being an AZZ.
Let's see..there is a Auto zone , Carquest, Napa and O'reilly's auto in a Town/City of 38K. At what point does a town become a city? LOL.....

Go to Grainger.com and order some M8 Brass washers they will deliver them to your door...
