Title: B3-3 airgun info
Post by: backyard plinker on August 13, 2013, 01:03:50 AM
Hi everyone,
I am not allowed to post in the classified gate because I have not met the 20 posts and 30 day requirements but I am looking for a B3-3 in .177.  Also tell me anything you have learned about the b3-3.
Thanks

Chris, I never heard of a B3-3 so I put B3-3 air rifle into the search line of my web browser.  If you do the same you will fine its a newer version of the Chinese B3, and underlever.  There are listings for several reviews, many of which are on this forum.  Try a search here at the top of the entry page.  You'll probably find what you seek.

Chris,

Welcome to the GTA.

The B3-3 is a entry level rifle that is widely available for very cheap.
Before you buy a B3, you might greatly benefit from speaking with Mike Melnick first.

I have to concur. I own a few B-3s, and they are a blast to mod and tune... but, many are not anywhere near ready to shoot as purchased. If you love to tinker... they need you. If not, you don't need them.

As my brother says, the B3 is an assembled kit of unfinished parts.

Yes actually I have done some very extensive research, more than you think, and that's why I am making a post.  I would not make a post wilt doing my research and waste your guys's time.

Beware of the beartrap. What I suggest doing is take a spent rifle cartridge and after you cock it slip that in the chamber ease the piston forward to hold it.Insert your pellet.Ease the piston back to drop the casing out then close up the chamber. I did an additional insert made from a 2 inch length of tree branch and a cord so I can pull it out. It was dried over the winter so it is plenty sturdy and will not shrink.

Chris, I've had a bunch of B3-1,2,3,4's. fun suff. About a year ago I bought a box of "B3 parts" from Rock Grabber. Turned out one was a B3-3 and the other two were a XS B4-2( had already rebuilt one) and a Bam B4. Those two look like B3's but a different trigger. Got'em all shootin'. There in my rack now.( Need to send you pics Rock Grabber)

B3-3 are hard to find new or used. I found another B3-3 in a pawn shop. It's in the parts bin. Google WF600p air rifle and top of page you'll see Shaoxing air gun factory. Click to see good pics of it. I got one in black composite and one in wood. Nicer sights than a B3-3 and a trigger safety.

dpciwholesale.com sales them, all .22, but they have a $100 minimum order.
sku 5058 black underlever
sku 5477 camo        "
sku 5478 wood         "
sku 5057 black break barrel
They're all like $42- $49.

They also have Blackhawk Elite and Umarex Surge refurbs for $59.95. I got one of the BHE from them. Good gun.

Enjoy. Later, Tim

Wow! DPCI is a great site I was very tempted to meet the 100 dollar minimum.I wish i could get a freind of mine interested in airguns. I really wanted to get a break barrel air pistol and a bunch of pellets but to fill out the order i was going to order another B3 and a M4 bb /pellet rifle.Alli really need are the pellets and the pistol.Though truth be told i do not really need those. It's just a impulse.
