well, after thorough cleaning, and about 35 rounds of shooting a plywood backboard, to break it in, (just 1foot break in shots) i sighted in the new Titan GP .22 with a centerpoint 4-16 AO scope. using 14.3 CPHP's, i just shot i think the best 3 shot group of my life with an airgun, and likely the best 5 shot group as well...
top 3 shots, were without adjustment... clicked 5 clicks left... you can see that shot. clicked 2 clicks right, and 3 down, and you can see that shot. either way... it is on par... i locked down the lock rings, and i will shoot more tomorrow, but its sighted in....

Nice Shooting there!... I'm still on the fence about getting one of those titan gp for myself..
-
well, i really liked the fit and finish and feel of my first one... able to use the GRTIII was a bonus... thumbhole stock was beautiful and comfortable... then it went bad... so i decided to pick up a second one... i knew my scope was good, i knew my 1 piece mount was good... but i couldn't get a good group to save my life with my first one. i found my fail was not cleaning the barrel... so if you get one... make sure you scrub the barrel good..until its super clean... then start shooting it.

Congrats! Looking good!

Thanks all,
i think its about time i got lucky with a good rifle. my gamo was accurate, but i just couldn't get used to shooting it. i consistantly made good headshots on squirrels, but i was never able to figure out its "hold". my titan, seems to be less hold sensitive. definatly likes being shot off a good rest. i shall fill my freezer very quickly with "freezer fodder".

Like you said, should be great for hunting. Accurate, strut, and .22 cal. Nice.
Congrats.

I wish my NPXL had been that tight, I think what is happening, in many cases, is that these NP's are still new for the manufacturers and its going to be a while before they tighten up their production routines and reduce the variables in their procedures. As time goes on, I'm sure a greater percentage of these will be on the money right out of the factory.
Great shooting!
-
yeah, i wouldn't doubt that, however, they have been producing the NP's for a few years now....

Glad you found your hammer! I don't think my WalMart will be carrying those. (Can't shoot off anything but your mouth in my county.) Thanks for passing along the tip on cleaning the barrel. Seems to be true of most of the Crosman guns, as I recall this advice regarding the original Nitros. Just did a quick search on your gun (thinking it was a Hatsan) and it seems many buyers are disappointed, claiming poor accuracy. I will bet they never even considered the barrel and lubes. Good to see Crosman is consistently delivering quality, even with their WM models. You did your homework and it paid off. Now enjoy it!

I'm glad to see someone else loves there titan GP. Mine Also shoots great. I can't hold groups like yours but my girl freind can stack pellets with it. 150.00 bucks .22cal can't beat that with a stick

Yellow,
Try shooting off a good rest
mine loves it.
