I thought I'd pass this on. It's a refurbished rifle, but I can atest to the quality of the product. I bought my refurb five months ago, and its Primo, 99.8999555 like new, and paid more for it than it's going for now. $340.00. Cant beat it. Here's the link:

good luck!

You would have to post this Darryl AFTER I had ordered the Mrod pistol(still wish I could remember who sent me the link?) LOL.Great price Bro. just wish I could get one. Maybe next year.
-
Aw, you know me, Jay. Always a day late and a dollar short with good news you can use. ;D I do see that a few people have checked this out. Perhaps someone will want to try one of these rifles?

I know I looked at it a couple of times and I'd love to have one, just don't know if I could swing it right now :(

Same boat :-( The Marauder pistol is not even here yet. I can just imagine the response if one of these showed up as well.
Sure is tempting, though. Do they have the "R" stamped in?
-
Do they have the "R" stamped in?
I'm not sure about that with the rifles at AGD, but I will tell you that the little "R"s on mine are visually unobtrusive whenever I handle the rifle. I know they are there, but I really no longer notice them. I guess I would say they become inconspicuous very soon. Wouldn't/didn't let it stop me from purchasing and enjoying this rifle.

I just recently bought a refurb Hammerli 850 from AGD and it did have a tiny "R" stamped into the receiver and the stock, but the "R" was so tiny I had to really look to find it.

Argh..... wish I could afford one of these
-
i almost got one....arrrg the bargin gate will bankrupt me!

Wow...I might sell my 48 to get one of these. No need to have the 48 a 54 and a B21.... is there?
Don't answer that.
Ya, I think the 48 goes...
-
OK, I didn't want to delay and have the 'daily' sale get by. What do you think is a fair price for a used RWS48 from 2000? New stock, replaced the barrel sleeve and some other minor parts. Shoots fine...
-
Guys,
I don't think these rifles are available for very long. They might even be gone by now (Sunday morning of the 28 of November), or very soon. Good luck!

PS AirScopes it must be a hard decision deciding to part with the 48 versus the 21. I'd sell the 21 if it were me. The 48 and the 54 are dissimilar enough to shoot, imo, that the 21 would be missed less than the 48.
-
Darryl, I have a few things at play there:
1) I think I can get more for the RWS48.
2) I'm not terribly attached to Euro-guns.
3) I find very little difference between the two guns. Both .177. B21 has an extendable arm. I like that.
4) I have a psychological issue with the 48. Nothing really wrong with the 48, but gave away more than I got when I traded for it... Then I paid even more to restore it (all minor parts)... Every time I look at it I feel a little stupid for not being smarter about it. It will serve someone well.
PS -- the RWS54s are all gone! Glad I made my decision quickly.

Thank goodness. I was doing some gnashing, there. Now this hideous temptation is removed.
-
Amen, what Dave said. A horrible temptation indeed. :D
-
oh...I'm the only one who took a bite? I needed one. It rounded out my scope breaker collection ;-)

Be glad you missed this 'deal'. My gun arrived with a rusty receiver and a skuffed/damaged breach tube. I am not at all pleased. German gun quality... bah! I've yet to have a German gun that impressed me. The two most expensive guns I bought were German... I am not at all impressed with the lack of quality and durability for twice the price.
That's my last forray into the German gun market. Phui!!

Man! I know you'll be calling them. I'd be fit to be tied if mine came looking like that. I hope this ends well.

I knew this going to happen w/ them refurbs.....lesson learned.
Good luck

I have a chinese refurb that is JUST FINE. Little Rs stamped on the receiver and the stock, but on the whole like a brand new rifle. I buy a lot of refurbed stuff and generally it is as good as new. There is no excuse for what I got here. I have an update here:

That site sounds like one I don't want to do business with. How can it send out a product looking like that?
