Title: Turkey Sedative!
Post by: yote300wsm on November 26, 2010, 02:25:27 AM
Did everyone get enough of the Turkey sedative?? Eight of us guys unbuttoned our pants and loosened our belts and fell asleep in front of the Dallas game while the women sat in the dining room having a hen party! (cluck, cluck, cluck!!).

We had Thanksgiving with my wife's folks.
Ate like kings, then watched the "Mythbusters" marathon for a bit, but I fought the urge to assume the "Al Bundy" position on the couch.

Been there, done that! Now I get to do it all over again on Saturday with the other side of the family. Glad I love turkey!

Thanksgiving dinners take eighteen hours to prepare. They are consumed in twelve minutes. Half-times take twelve minutes. This is not coincidence.

Heck yeah.... did it last week with my folks.  Then went over to my wifes aunt and uncles house...... and had soup!!!  Upset about the soup, we went and got a 21 lb ham.  Man that ham was good.

Now sitting at work I just want to sleep.

Anyone watch the pumpkin chunkin?

We were at my parents house. In between AG shooting sessions, eating and wranglin' the youguns' I managed to get some football in...never really sat still long. Had to leave around 6pm because I had to get up at 4:15am for work...finally fell asleep around 11:00pm-ish while watching the 3rd game. Made for an early morning.

Watched the long and drawn out Pumpkin Chunkin'. It was good. But they packed about 15 minutes of video into 2 hours of Zzzzzzzzzzz. But it was good.
Took an "Al Bundy" myself. The next surgery I have I'm gonna ask for the turkey instead of the drugs :)
Arrived at our destination and it was 73 degrees. When we left it was 54. Got home at 45 degrees. Was under a winter watch over night.
