Title: Scope question

I have an 880 and a Big Cat with the stock scopes. When I turn the 880 windage screw in the direction of the arrow indicating left the shot impacts left. However, when I turn the windage screw on the cat in the direction left the shot impacts right. Now I have not done much scoping in my time but I know left from right and which way to follow an arrow. Any ideas?

By the way clockwise is left on both.

I have personally seen two scopes that did this.  :o They otherwise worked just fine so once I sited them in I forgot about the problem. ;)

Probably just a mistake at the factory.

Thanks. So the cat is probably wrong?  If the arrow indicates left the shot should impact left from what I remember.
