Title: Disco's Accuracy Issues Resolved!
Post by: Shoot Straight on June 11, 2013, 10:57:32 PM
I have only had three tins of JSB Exact Heavies shoot good out of my .22 Disco. All the other tins were sub par. So I went to CPUMs and CPHPs which shot real good, until Crosman "upgraded" their pellets and they became really shiny. They couldn't hold an one inch group at fifty yards on a calm day. So I decided I would fix this problem myself.

I put a target out to forty-five yards and shot five stock CPUMs, five cleaned, and five cleaned and lubed. Here are the results.

                                                           Stock

                                                         Cleaned

                                                Cleaned and lubed  ;D

So I finally fixed the issue. Whats the main ingredient?

All I did was put the pellets in a cup of hot water, dry them off twice in two small towels and buff them at the same time, put them in a bowl of TC No. 13 Bore Cleaner and swish them in the bowl, then take two more small towels and dry off the excess bore cleaner and buff them at the same time. If you are having the same problem I did, you may want to give this a try. You can find the Bore Cleaner in the muzzleloading section of Bass Pro. I highly recommend it!

I just tried water and it didn't work for me.
