I received and email regarding this web site. Apparently this is a front for scams.

From whom?
What makes this person think this is a scam?
With all respect, I think if you're going to post a potentially libelous statement, you need to back it up with facts.

JMello is a division of American Arms. Joao Mello is the stock maker and is a member here at GTA. He was talking about his stocks here last year and it looks like he got the company off the ground and running now.
His stocks and his website is linked to from American Arms. And American Arms even prominently displays the GTA link. Maybe a quick call to them is in order to clear this up?

Here's American Arms website.
They have the GTA logo pasted all over they place, on almost every page it seems.
Are they not authorized to use the GTA logo ?
I do not see them listed in the GTA Mall or vendors list.

The Body of the Email I received.
" Techwoodstockdesign.com. Is a scam site set up by a guy in Florida called Joao Mellow, all he has done is paste parts of our website onto his fraudulent site in order to get people to click the buy now option and make payments via PayPal to a personal account!
The guy is a criminal, we have reported the site to UK internet fraud dept but they have not been able to shut him down. He has been doing the same thing to different firms for at least 20 years, he scammed Airguns of Arizona some years ago but they managed to stop him.
If anybody clicks the buy now option on his site and make the payment via paypal they will not get one of our stocks or their money back! Please advise as many shooting colleagues over there as you can as the guy needs to be stopped as our stocks are not cheap and people will potentially loose a lot of money."

seems pretty shaky to me,
seems to be TWO different sites tied together.
Both the one I listed, http://www.american-armscorp.com/ (http://www.american-armscorp.com/) and the one Gene listed.
They are also using photos taken from Boyds website as well as the GTA logo,.... (can they legally do that ?) No.
Charging $495 for a unfinished (obviously Blaster stock) , (readily available for much much cheaper),
but calling it their own,.... (NightHawk Custom)
They claim to have offices in Florida and Brazil, and speak several languages, English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, Italian, Croatian and Serbian... (possible I suppose),... (but I kind of doubt it).
and many of the pages you would think should be up and running for someone making such claims, are "Under Construction"
All of this combined, makes them sound pretty shaky to me shaky to me.

The guy (Joao Mello) is a member of the GTA forum..... user name American Arms

American Arms was removed as a vendor, removed from the Mall and banned as a member of GTA in December 2012. He is not authorized to use the GTA logo in any way, shape or form. We'll take care of that.

boot to the keester or foldin chair to the back of the head time ? its sad some come to scamming innocent people . judgement day they wont be able to "buy " thier way out of this sorry way of making a living .
