To over come the frame flex and help with accuracy I added a 1/4 inch plate to the upper side of the TalonSS. The plate is held in with 3 x 8-32 screws. I have not had a chance to shoot it yet, but it is much more rigid. The bolt no longer fit on the top so a side bolt was also required. The only tap I had in 10-32 was a tapper tap so I had to drill thru the breech. I think that will be ok. First couple test shots did not hae any air leak in the bolt area. (maybe one day the bolt with blow out the side.....;-) who knows).
I did not mill a flat on the side bolt so I had to cut a new spacer to hold the thick part of the bolt out a little more.
Tomorrow I hope to get in a few shots, get the gun sighted back in, and try some of the things that used to flex the frame and cause issues. If it works out I will take it off and clean up the edges and paint it black, and make another one for a 25 caliber condor I have also.

Great work. Let us know how it works for you.
Hopefully groups tighten up and velocity stays the same

I final got out to shot this recently and it is doing great. The odd flier that used to jump off target appears to be gone. Standing shots (where I am probably holding a little different) are grouping tighter. It is a little heavier and a little harder to pick up and carry since the "handle" area is now solid. The right side bolt (matches my firearms) might not be as nice as a left side. During the shooting session my right hand did all the moving and my left did nothing. Decocking with only the right side bolt is a little ackward since I am right handed. I control the hammer close with my left hand while squeezing the trigger with my right, but now the bolt is also on the right side. There will probably be a slot on the left side for the bolt handle and put a knob on both sides. That might get done in the next year or so.....
Over all it is MUCH improved over stock.
