I have purchased a Crosman 761XL that I am restoring and plan to sell. It is basically the 760 with a rifled barrel, grooved receiver for a scope, and walnut (I think) stock and forestock. I looked up its value in the Blue Book and it says $60 in 100% condition. Considering how few of these I have seen in the classifieds, this seems kind of low. Any ideas?

Here is the 761 after restoration. The stock and forearm are beautiful - much better wood than the 760. It has the rifled barrel. Anyone know what it is worth on the open market?

Hey Erik,
I sent you an email.

I have seen a few on the market, (I have one all original from 1972, that still shoots well, and has never been re sealed)
It isn't a closet queen, it has taught my daughter, nephew, and other family members to shoot.
And still gets used monthly.
Value wise, on the market I have seen the well used going for $30-60 on Craigslist.
And $80-$125 on the forums for sale in good shape.
I love mine, sentimental value is much more than its monetary value..

I just bought one this week in the uk. I paid £70 = $132.59 so in UK worth a fare amount that only about 60% as well. I so wish I was in the states as a collector it's *(&^ over here for Crosman stuff. And to find ancillary stuff like pellets and other bits is impossible to find. If you do they cost an arm or leg to buy. But you have to keep those old Crosmans shooting. Keep up the posting I really like your work thank you
