It is the one that Faithfulfatherof2 had for sale in the GTA classifieds, man he is a great guy and this thing is in mint condition, I will be playing with it tomorrow, also I'll take some pic's of it, I cant believe how heavy this beast is. I will definitely be using the sling with it.... ;D

Well today was my first day of shooting my Trail NP XL1100 and it was an eye opening experience to say the least, full of ups and downs. I have shot powder burners all my life and have never had any problems but this thing will make you want to pull your hair out, (ok I got it now, it is dead on then it is off again...grrrrrrr then it is on, then off, on, off, on, off, on) lol well to make a long story short I made some progress and I think I can live with this group, it is from 21 yards, tell me what yea think for the first day of shooting this beast( my arm may never recover)....lol I shot about 400 pellets today. Also included some pic's of the gun.... ;D

did you loctite the screws, on the stock and the scope and mounts? those guns have a rep for being hard to shoot. could be a number of things really. my guess is that it will just take some time, experience, and trial and error with holds and different pellets etc. I am sure you have heard all of this before. that beast has an infamous reputation for sure. you will master it in no time, if you keep shooting it that much. I find that it is half the fun with springers/np's to learn to master each one of them.

Joshua I got this gun from Faithfullfatherof2 and he said that he loctite all the screws, when I checked them they were all tight. I think when I get settled down with my hold it will get much better

Jerry I have been into shooting powder for over 47 year's now(all type's of comp.) an like you I have never an I mean friggin NEVER found a powder gun that will drive you nut's on hold as these dang AG's!!! Next time your shooting just try this, shoot 10 shot's then just change something small like changing your thumb position on the stock. It will move your poi as much as 1" or more. These thing's require the perfect repeatable hold ever shot to master them. But once you do it will even make you a better powder burner as you will become a master of repeating your hold an trigger break. I also hate to tell you this but every AG has a different hold it like's!!! Welcome to the crazy world of air gunning.

Jerry,
Congrats ...... and condolances on the new XL !  ;D

As Jay said, they can be very frustrating finding the right hold. But, once you find the right hold for your gun (they do vary), with the right pellet, it can be very accurate.

If I don't pull my XL1100 tight into my shoulder, with my cheek firmly on the cheek pad, the groups move left and open up. The softer the hold, the more open the groups become. Also, mine works best holding the foregrip right at the checkering - others have reported their best accuracy with their fore hand out at the front end of the stock.

Best just to experiment with differant hand postions and hold tension. Plus, as Jay also said, try small adjustments - but just one change at a time. If it can shoot well, you'll find it.

Also, don't rule out that you haven't found it's favorite pellet yet.  Now that mine has a few thousand pellets through it, it's not as pellet-picky as it was when I first got it, but, unfortunately for my wallet, it does not like cheap (or loose fitting) pellets. Just sprays them everywhere !!!!!

Still does it's best with Predators.
