Ok, I was swapping out some orings and was looking everything over when I noticed that the air passage on my bolt probe doesn't line up with the brass breach port when positioned in the detent properly. I could not get a good shot of it cause its kind of hard to see but it had not rotated enough and it was pushed too far forward. I decided to make the cutout larger so it would not block so much of the port.out came the old oil pump and head porting tools and the pics below are what I ended up with. I hadn't intended to polish the whole thing, but my hand slipped a few times with the felt bobs when I was polishing the ball end and nicked the blueing. The photos don't give the probe end justic, its actually well blended and smooth.

Mine doesn't either; bolt handle has to be down past the detent dimple and then it lines up fine. I did not see any difference in power iff properly positioned or not.
cheers,
