Title: Here's a fun one.

No shooting was involved but this bit of video took place on Memorial Day.

He hung around for a week before he decided to quit associating with humans.  He would fly up to us and land on our shoulder.  We would then take him over to the cherry tree and pick a few cherries for him.

Never seen anything quite like it.

Nice video! Yes that was a tame one! What kind of bird? I had a rabbit last year that was very young one, you could walk right up to it , in fact I would mow the lawn And it would just move out of the way not very far and not very fast.

That was pretty cool!  It 's for its best interest that it is not so friendly with people.

It looks like a Starling fledgeling.  It probably left the nest for the 1st or 2nd time and its mom was not around to guide it and teach it things, so it became friendly with you guys.  Probably because while it was growing up in the nest on the cherry tree, it could hear you talk, and probably see you so it was used to you.  After a week of hanging out with mom, she tought it the important things, one of which is don't trust the humans!   ;)  hehehe.   I have seen mother Starlings scold their young, when they come too close to my house.  They will peck them to teach them a lesson and make them fly away.  Even even after she has made them move farther out.

Great video.  Hopefully he won't be so friendly if a cat shows up.   :-\
