30 yards, no wind and sunny. Hard to believe I'm in Jersey!!!
Last group at 50 with JSB 7.87 Express. Great pellet in my gun.
What a joy to shoot this rifle!!
-
Nice shootin there Joe ... very nice ;)
-
Beautiful shooting gun Scott!!!! Some Motörhead dude hooked it up for me!!!
It just gets smoother and smoother bro!!
I did the pellet on top of the turret test recently. The pellet hardly budged!!
Thanks again your Motorheadness!!!

LMBO!!!!!!! You go on wit ya bad self bro!!!!
-
Very Nice! When I shoot mine I think to myself (Why do I have other guns ?) then I remember I'm a addict.
-
You are not alone Dustin!! At least we aren't as bad as Niko bro!!
;D ;D
-
Sweet groups with the TX. Its easy to see why those things are used so much in Field Target. They really put the pellets where you want them to go. ;D
-
Awesome groups Joe!
Hmm this Motorhead fella's name comes up a lot. Maybe I can send a TX or HW his way someday? ;D

Thanks Larry!! You won't be sorry if you do send either one Scott's way bro!! He had mine done in a day!! I've put tons of lead down the tube since I got her back!! She gets better and better!!
Love this rifle even more now!!! VERY reasonable pricing also!!
Joe
-
That's it Joe, when we shoot you have to use the 760.
Tom
-
Only if you pump it up for me Tom!!!! Had enough of that by the time I was 11!!
-
Joe that's some fine shootin there. My TX was down unnecessarily or should I say to my irresponsibility. I swapped out the high rings and My Hawke 50 when I got my AF Condor and ordered a hawke 40 for the TX. When I received a single mount from PA for the Condor I misplaced the high ring set and just found them this minute. But I have lost the opportunity to shoot today. As they say there is always tomorrow. This TX200 is a small piece of heaven makes my R9 feel like swiss cheese!

Yo Oaks!!! How does being in the dark side feel??? I thought we lost ya fed good bro!!! Hopefully the boingy TX will bring you back once in a while!!!!!!
;D ;D
-
Joe the Darkside is much more complicated and can be pricey. Not that out springers are cheap I have a little more into my Condor then I did into my R9 after tune and when i say a little more I am talking about 100 bucks. The TX is so fun to shoot it's amazing I won't become bored of this beauty! I sold the 54 Air King and the XL 1100. Traded the R9 for the TX200 and I am not lookin back what a great trade glad I didn't sell the R9 glad this guy Spence showed up and offered the trade. The Condor is super super powerful and cool gun. I have had to buy some expensive noise apparatus and a 22 rim fire trap with 10 pounds of duct seal to keep the monster gun and pellets quiet in the yard. I am having fun Joe so don't write me off because I walk the line.

Ill let ya slide Oaks......for now!!! But know that I will be watching you!!!
-
It's like we live in the Soviet Union I am being watch because I am no longer just shooting springers...... :o
I have come under suspicion because I shoot PCP. ???

The TX is an amazing gun out of the box but it becomes something extraordinary with the right tweaks here and there. I also have Scott to thank for an amazing trigger job and some custom parts he machined for me to achieve exactly what I wanted for mine. I have multiple springs to achieve different power levels and I settled on just slightly over 13fpe, it seems to be the magic spot for me.
The rifle basically doesn't move, the shot cycle is so smooth that I feel my R7 recoils more. :o
After Scott did his trigger magic, I took the TX home and shot it a couple of times and lightened the trigger another smidgeon. Right now it feels like a match trigger that makes my Rekords feel like boat anchors ;D
It sounds like you have the same problems with your TX, Joe! ;D
Nice shooting, bro. ;)
Keep it up!

It's TX owners fault, bragging about their British Iron and how accurate they are ;D So I'm posting my accuracy with good old American Iron errrr nickel plated brass ;)
I'm done refinishing my Silver Streak and wanted to test the Acc Pell Pellets I ordered. I added my NcStar 4X with the bad retical with the loose 4piece mount ;D while I was at it I shot 1 Accu Pell 2 Benji diablo 3 Polymag 4 Ash Cans #'s 1 > 4 were 5 shot groups. 5&6 were 10 shot groups. distance shot 50ft. 40 & 100ft shorter than Jersey Joe ;D picture with the dime is a 10 shot group ;D do you think "Ole Reliable" is worthy of a Steroid Tune ;) all shots were rested nothing fancy just a 50cal ammo can with a foam block. :D

Soooo glad to hear that Oaks!!! Kelly and Spencer each picked up new ones recently. Kelly returned his and Spencer was going nuts with his!!! Lots of different pellets tried to no a avail!! Spence just put a kit in his and it's showing some promise.
Has yours been tuned bro?? You bought it used, right??
-
Spencer is definitely showing a lot of improvement with his! ;)
I was glad to see that too.
-
I was sooo thrilled for him Niko!! I was feeling his frustration bro. Love to know what's up with Kelly's. it's also great to hear it's not all the 22's cause Oaks loves his.
-
I'm hoping it's an easy fix for Kelly's. Maybe it's just an ill fitting part that's so simple like the piston seal or it could be a jacked piston like we talked about on another thread. Either way, I hope it gets resolved for him quickly so he can enjoy a nice rifle like it should be.
-
I actually traded my R9 which was tuned by John Thomas (John from PA) for the TX200 MKlll. The guys name I traded with was Spencer. Turns out the gun was too heavy for him and he had bought a R9 in .177 liked it but it was not doing the job hunting so he saw i was selling my .22 and made an offer. We came to terms and now I am the proud owner of a TX200 MKlll Beech Stock. \
It is not tuned Joe. When I get bored one day I will send it out. I just spent some cash on a Carbon Fiber Tank, Two shrouds, Hawke Scope and a used Evanix .22. I sold a bunch of stuff too.

I'm still wondering if the lack of a noticeable choke when I clean mine has something to do with the extra finicky-ness that it has... I'm improving as a shooter, sure, but there is no forgiveness with mine. At. All. That's ok. It gives me something to obsess about and it'll teach me more discipline. ;D :o
-
Spencer!!! How long have you been married??? If you have a prob with discipline you must have one heck of a thick skull!!!!
;D ;D ;D
All joking aside.....I'm so glad you're seeing improvement with the performance of your TX.
-
Ha, 14 years and I'm still learning discipline. I'm not there yet!
