Title: Chrony Printer
Post by: Frank on November 16, 2010, 04:23:14 PM
Where is the best place to purchase a Chrony Printer. Mine just quit feeding the paper and don't see anything I can fix. Small plastic parts...  Help.......

Don't know about used, but I'm pretty sure eBay or some other site would have people selling them.
You can get new printers from PA here - https://www.pyramydair.com/product/shooting-chrony-ballistic-printer?a=839 (https://www.pyramydair.com/product/shooting-chrony-ballistic-printer?a=839)
Or Midway - http://www.midwayusa.com/viewproduct/?productnumber=644359 (http://www.midwayusa.com/viewproduct/?productnumber=644359)
Cabela's wants $10 more for it, so what about the best price of all, $10 less?! - http://www.cheaperthandirt.com/23108-1.html (http://www.cheaperthandirt.com/23108-1.html)

You're welcome ;)

And DO check with Chrony on sending it back for repair. Not sure what they will charge but it may be well below buying a new one. I had a question about the ink ribbon on mine and they responded rather quickly.
Happy Shooting!!!!

Good point, Ezman.
I put a 200 grain lead semi-wadcutter from my Ruger Blackhawk .45 Colt into the guts of my F-1 Chrony over twenty years ago, and they repaired it for about $30 less than it would have been to order a new one.
Good customer service.

I did check with them. Said they would exchange for a new one for 72.95 + 8.95 ship or just buy a new one from them for 92.00. Would cost me 5 or more to send them my old one. Cheaper than Dirt has them for 70 + 7 ship.
