Last week I took advantage of the deal R&L Airgun Supply has going on the refurbished Trail NP All Weather. I ordered it Tuesday, and it was at my door Friday. So first off my hat is off to them and their prompt shipping. As for the gun, no complaints yet. There is not a mark on the gun, and if it didnt have a refurbished sticker on it, I would think its brand new. Havent had alot of time to shoot, and I only have around 70-80 pellets through it so far but it is decently accurate. Most of the shooting has been from 15 feet in my basement and all groups are smaller than dime size. At 25 yards in the backyard groups are around 1", with occasional fliers which I am pretty sure is me. I am shooting standing, resting the rifle on a sandbag on a window sil. In the basement I am shooting the same way but shooting off my bar. This is with Crossman pointed pellets. Once I get 300-500 through it, ill clean the bore again and test some different pellets. In the mean time ill keep shooting just to break her in.

Shot a little bit more today and decided to try some different pellets. Tried all the crosmans, H&N Barracuda 21 grain, and the Beeman FTS. After the Beeman, I dont know if I want to try anything else. At 20 yards it put 5 shots into a dime size group. From all the complaints ive heard about this gun, I think im gonna call it a success. I do still have some RWS super H points and Benjamin discoveries I can try, but not sure if I should even bother. Although the stock trigger is not nearly as bad as I thought it was going to be, a new trigger will be on the wish list.

I have a Trail NP 22 with the wooden thumb hole stock. It is my favorite airgun right now.its quiet and pretty accurate(about like your groups). It holds well offhand as well.I have a soup can at 50 yards by the shop and went the first 10 straight after work offhand (before missing the next 5 in excitement and giving up after the next hit)I think i have put over 3000 though it the last two or so months.
I am now looking for one in .177.

I p/u the same gun. the one sent to me had the sticker remfg on the under side, but the gun looks great. I've took the time to clean the barrel. I've only put 20 shots threw it late today. The sound it makes when shot is what has me taken back. I'm use to shooting a Ben392.NP seem to be shooting okay only time will tell.

Get a pellet sampler in what ever caliber you buy this way you can try a few different ones, also go to walmart and pick up a tin of CPHP, maybe some RedFires and a cheap tin of Daisey pellets.
Clean the barrel when you get it so that you can start fresh with what you have and make a good determinaion as to what the gun likes...

So far crosman pellets have been the worst. Beeman fts, and RWS super H points have been the best. I'm going to pick up some H&N FTT 5.53 today. I also want to try jsb's and RWS super domes.

I got one of these too, and too have a gun that looks perfect. I really like this gun, quite, love the stock, and accurate enough. Maybe 100 pellets through it so far, but continually hitting a tennis ball at 35 yards. I like how it cocks compared to the springer, and how it fires compared as well. Essentially no dieseling and it shoots CPHPs pretty well. Overall, a great little gun.
