Had anyone had to replace a barrel on a XL 725? I was wondering how much $ they run.

Stating BANANA ..... are we left to assume you let go of barrel while cocking and now it is bent like a bananner ???

Yes sir, I've been putting in some time working her over while I'm refinishing the stock. To date I've installed the tuna trigger, gene's washers and the bushing, new Walther talon seal, and a hone job on the thing. I was out in the shop just oiled or molyied her up put her back together and then in a stroke of brilliance (or stupidity) I decided to see if my XL was going to have problems with the hair trigger....SOOO I cocked it. Needless to say (even having my hand on the barrel) the gun has been bananied.

Lol ....
Ya know , likely barrel can be straightened back out by simply placing barrel onto TWO wood blocks at each end ( Arch side high ) and press the middle taking Nanner bend back out. Bit of fine tuning the reverse bow and your back good as new.
* Exception being if BEND is more a crease localized at the pivot block :P in which it's likely toast.

Thanks Motor,
I'll take a look see....I can barely see any bend in it. Man I can't thank you and the forum enough!
