Title: Customer service on my 392
Post by: squirrelsniper on April 02, 2013, 02:19:39 AM
Finally got my new 392 in. Shot it some and it was shooting over a foot to the left. So, I put my Williams peep sight on it and ran out of adjustment to the right and the gun was still eight inches to the left. It was shooting great groups with CPHs and RWS superdomes but way off from the point of aim.
I was sick as I waited over a month to get it in and, as I looked down the barrel from the top I could see it was seriously bent off to the left. I called Crosman and they responded that they would send me a new rifle and have me send the bad one back as they didn't want a defective product floating around.
Anyway, I was pleased with their response and they do seem to really be concerned with my satisfaction with their products. I'm keeping the faith with them as my other Benjis and Crosmans are great.

Good on Crosman for taking care of the customer. I also had to return a 392 recently though I took it back for exchange to the store where I bought it. That gun had multiple issues not the least of which was that it felt like it was full of gravel every time I pumped it. The piston had obvious rough tool marks on it and I'm sure it was tearing up the air tube with every pump. It's a shame that these bad guns ever got through QC but I suppose it's a sign of the times. My replacement gun turned out to be a keeper. I hope you get a good one from Crosman, maybe they will take the extra step of hand picking a replacement for you. Good luck!
