I'll be there. Not sure which guns will be making the trek with my but that doesn't matter. Just a good time with some good people. Look forward to seeing everyone

My GF has mentioned she and her daughter might want to attend with me. Should be interesting. ;)

For this years event we will have more room for tents and a larger shooting area. Permits for the event is already in hand.
Remember event is May 17, 18 ,19.. Only a month away now.
Things for you to bring: A chair to sit in, food to snack on, support shooting items such as a table or bench to shoot from. We will supply much of the soft drinks but they go fast. We do have a few tables but first come first serve. People start rolling in on Thursday to set up and help with the shoot. Early birds are welcome.
We will have a BBQ on Saturday thanks to your help as well as Raffles for prizes.

The SC GTA Fun Shoot is just that... a fun shoot and everyone has a good time. ;) As in past years, Gene and I always look forward to meeting you guys (and gals) as does the other staff members that are able to attend. 8)
If you can make it, it will be well worth your time. You will meet a lot of our members and share a great time. ;D A lot of different guns will be there and almost everybody will give you an opportunity to shoot their guns if you desire. :D No ill feelings about how old or cheap a gun is or how new or expensive they are. All are respected and are brought to have a good time shooting so bring what ever you have. 8)
Lots of prizes and drawings, selling and trading between the members. Take a break, set around and shoot the bull and exchange thoughts and ideas or shooting stories or experiences. ::) ??? 8)
And when it's all said and done, you can share your experience with those that could not make it on the forum and it will be something that you won't forget for a long time. It's that much fun.. ;)

Less than 30 days now. Guess I should let you all know what you will need to bring.. (http://www.gatewaytoairguns.org/GTA/Smileys/akyhne/smiley.gif)
Safety is a big issue. We will have a shooting line. Anyone who brings younger children will have to have a parent to watch them and be responsible. We normally do not allow anyone younger than 13 on the shooting line unless they are closely supervised by parent. No exceptions.
We have a large grocery store in town with a few fast food places for those who care to buy things when they arrive.
This year we are limiting air rifles to .30 caliber unless you have a muffler to reduce the noise. Mufflers must be legal because our Police do come and play too... (http://www.gatewaytoairguns.org/GTA/Smileys/akyhne/smiley.gif)
Here is a list of must haves..
1. Bring a chair or chairs.
2. Bring something to shoot off of. Like a small table or ur favorite shooting bench.
3. Bring Pellets/Ammo
4. Bring Air for your PCP's

6. Bring your own towels etc. if you plan on pitching a tent.
7. If you want to participate in the GTA raffles on Saturday bring you dollars... (http://www.gatewaytoairguns.org/GTA/Smileys/akyhne/smiley.gif) We will have lots to raffle off thanks to our gracious Vendors and members.

Thanks to so many generouse members we will have plenty of food. The GTA donations will pick up the tab for some of the foods n stuff.
There will be plenty of parking available.
I will set up a map for directions later so stay tuned.

Now if you don't like shooting and eating and talking among friends, meeting fellow members, camping, sharing experiences, shooting all different guns, trading, selling, buying, a little competition shooting, setting back and relaxing and other stuff and things, ....... then don't come to the SC GTA Fun Shoot in Belton SC on May 17, 18 ,19. :'( :'( :'(
BUT IF YOU DO, we look forward to seeing everybody when you get here and looking forward to having a great time.. Oh.... did I mention shooting and eating. ::) An event to remember. ;) :D ;D 8)

Bob & Gene I wished I could make it but busy during this time frame. I hope to make one someday and come shoot. Maybe next years event.
