Title: New barrel for 1377c
Post by: spotface on November 14, 2010, 08:53:54 PM
Where can I get a longer barrel for my 1377c?  I'd like to get an 11" .177 for it.  Got a Don Cothran long stainless breech/bolt, safety and trigger.  Grips are in the mail, as is the new barrel band (I hope!).  Put a Hawke Red Dot 30 on it temporarily. I'm looking at maybe the BSA 2x20 scope in the future- what other scopes do you guys recommend?  What fun!  Works darn good with the Red Dot.   I took the aluminum grip frame and filed the casting marks off of it and left it natural - took about an hour and what a difference in how it looks.  I hope I don't have to modify a bunch of these things....Pictures after grips and barrel band get here.

Thanks guys, but the crosman link only has replacement barrels, not longer custom barrels.  I'd like to go plus one inch on the barrel length and have googeled the heck out of it.  I do see longer barrels on customized 1377's, so where do they get 'em?

The easiest thing for your case would be to order a longer barrel and cut it down to size.
Crosman barrels are pretty easy to recrown.

You can order a custom barrel from someone else, but it will be spendy...

Mountain Air will customize any barrel you happen to pick up: http://www.mountainaircustomairguns.com/our_gallery.htm. (http://www.mountainaircustomairguns.com/our_gallery.htm.) Take a scroll down that link and see if there's something close.

Mac1 is always a good bet.

He got some other good stuff for your pumper, like flat top piston, solid pins to have a trouble free pivot when pumping, power adjuster when you pump over 20 and long probe bolt or hollow probe.

My recent order for a 15.300 inch barrel from AC Customs was a real beauty. Very nicely crowned, cleaned ,and polished pellet entrance. Couldn't be happier with the quality. Transfer port location was spot on. Hope you have the same experience with Mellon. Please keep us posted.

I tried to take sleeve cover off my NP Trail to look at barrel end for possible crown but the hole barrel turned.  What did I do wrong? My bad I put this in wrong place and didn't know how to get rid of it.  Spank spank do better ??? next time.
