Title: XS46U in .22
Post by: Motodad on November 14, 2010, 03:23:39 PM
Alright I have put about 100 pellets through this rifle so far. I am still using the open sights until the Hawke scope I ordered comes in. My backyard range is 33 yards and I can't hit anything with the open sights  :-[. This rifle weighs 8lbs 14.6ozs so it is on the heavy side and will get heavier when scoped. I pulled the stock off and tooke some pictures for you guys. This rifle is typicall chinese quality or lack there of. The stock screw hole tolerances were very wide, the threads are very shallow and when assembling the stock the holes don't line up without persuation. The cocking cycle is smooth and there is very little twisting with some recoil when firing. The safety is kind of a pin thing and not very finger friendly going from fire to safe. It is however an automatic safety when cocking. This is my first underlever and I'm afraid that it will be a nightmare to load a pellet when scoped, but I may be wrong. Overall it is a decent rifle for $156 to my door.

Ok, I have had this rifle for sometime now. It has become my favorite (I have this and 4 Gamos). It shoots very well and very accurate out to 35-40yds.

Thanks for the report

No problem, still going strong and is a great shooter for the cost. My son picked it up a couple weeks ago to try it and really likes it too.
