Title: to heavy
Post by: JustinB on March 24, 2013, 11:29:04 AM
I have found that my Benji Titan NP in .177 is most accurate with 10.5 grain premiers. Is the pellet too heavy for a gas ram gun? Also has anyone chronyed this gun with those pellets.

Thats about the top of the "OK" weight range for most springers, but it's the very light-weight ones you really need to stay away from. Check the library for more info.

From what I understand, the heavies warnings for springers does not apply to NP.  I have been using 10g domes in my Rem NP which provide the best accuracy and consistancy for me.  I believe the Rem NP uses the same piston as your titan.  I get 820fps with my rem.  I have well over 3000 shots thru it.  When it was new, was getting 790-800fps.
