Title: .177 barrel
Post by: minkling on March 23, 2013, 08:15:16 PM
Does anyone know the part number for a 18" .177 barrel from Crosman for the 2289?

I subscribed since I'm about to order some parts to mod my 2289 as well.

From some of the research I've done, it looks like we'll need to get a 24" barrel, then chop and recrown.

24" .177 barrel P/N 1760-001

Thanks for that link.  I had found those numbers and the number for the new bolt.  I have the steel breach already installed and am thinking of getting a flat top piston.   I was hoping that someone would have a number for the 18" barrel that you can get on the custom shop guns.

I don't think crosman will sell the custom shop parts.  The 2250 has an 18" .22 barrel (2250-019) if you are trying to fit to a 2289.  If converting to a .177, I believe you will have to cut down a 24" barrel or purchse from a supplier, like MellonAir, that does that.
