Hi Everyone,
I am new to shooting a springer and i cant seem to find a decent pellet or shoot the nicest group but i was wondering if anyone knows some good pellets for these c1k77 rifles. Do springers not so good? haha
-
I'd try jsb exacts or RWS superdomes.

Your going to laugh but gamo tomahawks shoot well, and CPH shoot super for me.

My neighbor's Quest is accurate shooting CPHP's from Wally

perfect, i have some on the way already.

i have some cphp but they not so good, or i not so good, i need more consistent of a pellet haha. But, its pretty hard shooting a springer accurately for me. i'll keep trying the cphp

I find CPHPs are good up to 20 yards....then they start to spread out. Occasionally I get a very good tin and can get quarter-size groups (10 shots) once in awhile.
Try Beeman FTS (Field Target Special) or H&N FTT (Field Target Trophy)....same pellets just re-branded. I've better luck with them...even out to 40 yards.

my furthest setup in the backyard is 20 yards and i just want something to shoot the nicest possible groups. I am pretty much buying tins of every brand lately. I havent gotten any of the rws and h&n pellets yet, they are next on the list.

CPHP'S, CP Ultra Mags, and the CP Super Points. In my experience, they all group well and they all are good hunters in my Phantom.

X2 on the FTT's. I get ragged one holes at 25 yards with em. CPHP's also do well to dime size groups at 25 yards. CPHP's foul the barrel quickly from all the powder on them though and begin to affect accuracy after about 300 shots, forcing me to clean it often if I use them.
Much depends on if you have a good barrel. Lot of variation on the Crosman B18 variants. Aside from installing the usual pivot bushings, a crown cleanup and slightly chamfering the loading port lead in helped tremendously on my StormXT.

I've got both the phantom and the quest, and they both do very well with CPHP and RWS superdomes. Very well actually, given that they are entry level guns. I favor the hold of the phantom, I find it very accurate.

Another vote for the CPHP.

X2 on paul68's comments. For that rifle i had real good results with the crosman domes 10.5grns, just enough weight to slow things down a bit. JSB's also good as are H&N's. I was getting descent groups with the 10.5 's at 30 yrds.

i just cleaned up the crown and slight champfered the pellet loading side like paul86 said. Now time to test with the cphp again. Im sure i have shot a bunch already but after this ill try again. I noticed that the heavier pellets seem to group nice though. i should look for more 10 grain pellets. Thanks Everyone!
