Hi All,
at around 2,000 pellets, the rivet pin (#19 on the diagram) has failed. It broke into two pieces! The gun is less than one year old, so it must be under warranty (hasn't contacted Umarex yet). Have you seen anything like that?

Just outta curiousity, did it break or was it broken where it was getting cut/grooved by the cocking arm? How does the pin on the other end look? Just thinking it could be getting worn too. Dunno.

The Wife is sleeping in the bedroom, where the closet is where the gun is stored :) so I can't take a picture. But from what I remember, the part that I could find in the snow was broken approximately where the cocking arm touches the flat part of the barrel (no idea how to call it in English). I.e. it looked like it was indeed getting cut by one of the cocking arm outer sides

Unusual issue. Haven't heard of it till now. If the warranty is good, use it.

Thanks, Paul!
I've sent a message to Umarex an hour ago - let's see what they have to say about it. I did RemOil all of the moving parts before usage though. I know quite a bit about mechanics, cars, hardware, etc, so the broken pin looked to me not like a design fault, but more like a cavern in the metal of the pin that developed into a crack and lead to the pin break

thats a first and I've seen alot of this type of rifle, if you can't get any satisfaction from Umarex let me know, I have that part and can send you one to repiar the rifle...

Thank you, Mike! I'll wait a little bit for their response. If not, I'll certainly drop you a message.

Update: Umarex will be sending me the pin at no charge.
