Title: Needs some advice about my HPA QB
Post by: dryanw on March 14, 2013, 03:13:32 PM
My setup is my QB-78 tethered to a 3000psi tank. My question is,would reducing the internal volume of the airtube benefit me in any way? Just curious, and love to tinker so I'm really thinking hard about mods that can be done to my rifle  ;)

no it wont at all. u will lose efficiency and power by reducing post regulator pre valve volume ( plenum is what i would call it). but you could chop a few inches off and add a qb79 tank block so that could run around with a 13ci under the barrel. it would be much more portable that way  ;)
