Well, it was bound to happen eventually! So now when I try to fill the Mrod it all just rushes back out the fill nipple when I bleed the line!!!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!! Since it is under 6 months old it falls under warranty so it should not be an issue to get it fixed, problem there is that they will want me to send them the rifle and then wait until it is fixed!!!!!! Not Even Cool!!!!

Since it is de-gased, id you inspect to see if something is simply stuck in valve? I though I remember a member here finding file shavings in his new MROD.

thats the best way Matt. they send you the pieces and fix it your self. will be faster and no chance of a damaged or lost gun in shipping. ;D they are a breeze to change. ;D
-
And in the meantime, I replaced the o-ring and TADAAAAAAAA, working just fine now. Will top her off and let her set and see if she leaks.
I agree, nobody needs to work on my gun if it is that simple!!!!

if the problem ever happens again you can buy the parts at local paintball stores.

I am using the Crosman check valve/fill nipple on the bottle project. It is a remarkably inexpensive bit. It screws into the end cap on the muzzle end of the air tube. What you describe certainly sounds like a check valve malfunction.
cheers,
Douglas

Same issue with my Cometa Lynx some time back. Stuck valve from a bad o-ring. Replaced and worked. Then the reg messed up and had to send in to get fixed.
-
i also had the same issue and i spoke with Matt, Gene and Dave in the chat about it and i also told the i replaced all the o rings in the gun, from the valve down to the muzzle end, but i was still having a leak, well the guys recommended that i check the o ring inside the filling nipple and what do you know... the problem was right the, i must say to get that fill nipple off is a bit of work, it was very corroded on the inside i cleaned it and try to get as much as possible corrosion off the parts and applied a bit of silicon grease to the o ring and the other parts, put it back and there you go, problem solved.
Thanks MATT, GENE and DAVE.

Marno
