Hey guys,
quick question: I plan on getting a PCP rifle at some in the near future and am wondering which pump to get, the Hill or the FX? Which one would allow me to more easily fill a Condor or Sumatra completely. I'm 5'9", 165 and in decent shape. Thanks!

the hill has been highly praised for its excellence in craftsmentship and quality. cant say so much for the benji/airforce pumps, and i dont know much about the FX line. id vot a hill if your going to be pumping.

What about Mike's pump - anyone tried one of them.

Yeah, my guess is that I couldn't go wrong either way based on quality. I'm just wondering which one (if either) will allow me, at my weight, to completely fill them.

I just got one, and as far as fit and finish it is real good.
It pumps up my gun well enough so.....
I do like it because it is able to pump to 310 bar.
Can't say anything to the others as I have never used them.

I'm 5'7" 170 lbs. I fill my gun to 3000 psi with a Benji hand pump. You won't have a problem. It's all in the technique and bending your knees to get your weight on it. Don't use your back for anything over 2300 to 2500 psi. You'll get a good work out filling either the Condor or Sumatra! Let the pump rest (cool) for 10 to 15 minutes every 50 strokes, which will be several times per fill on those guns.

Thanks! That's what I was needing to know. I'm glad to hear I don't necessarily have to she'll out a bunch of cash for a tank right away.

Buy the hill pump, it will save you a lot of headaches down the road. Build quality is superb.

I have a hill and a air force pump!i prefer the hill!
Pumping is easy if you are in good shape, 10 times easier if you workout. There are few tutorials on youtube on how to use your weight to pump, i rely on my arms. Pumping a condor below 1000 psi is no jokes due to the tank size.
