Well I got in my lone tin of Air Arms .25 calilber pellets. They are exact weights of JSB Exact Kings @ 25.4 grain claimed weight. I did a very quick measurement of 5 pellets and each had a head diameter of 6.37 or 6.38 mm and weights were 25.3-25.5-25.4-25.4-25.4 respective. So the numbers are consistent and identical to random samples of JSB pellets in same caliber.
I loaded 4 mags of 8 pellets each and shot 8 per target. Here were the weather conditions for today:
Sunny skies
47 degrees
Shooting SE direction
Wind from the NW @ 17 mph
Begin fill pressure- 2800 psi
Ending pressure- 1600 psi
Total expenditure per shot on avg.- 37.5 psi
And the targets resulted in this and are labeled from 1st 8 shots to the 4th last 8 shots. I like the AA version of the .25 caliber pellet which is same as the JSB's. If you have not tried these and are awaiting JSB Exact Kings I highly endorse them to be exact replacements. I read where JSB makes them for AA so you really can't go wrong!
You will notice the very last shot, (#32) was low and left. Same aim point but I suspect the air fell off just a tad to drop it.
