I was wondering, can all of my topics listed below be merged into this thread?

in a next few months I will do a lot of chrony testing, group shooting and slow motion videos capturing - for all of my pcp's. all of them are now regulated. mrod didnt had a chance to stretch his leags with reg, it will be done in next few days.
today I was working on my AA S410 FAC - it used to be sub 12 ftlbs, but I have changed all of the non fac parts in it, and made it full FAC :)
before installing the regulator, I had a strings like this with JSB 18,13gn pellets, starting at 190 bar

should I change the reg setting and at what pressure?
-
Looks to me like you are shooting too close to the Chrony with all those high readings.... You lost roughly 20 fps with the 18 gr. pellets at 125 bar.... That would be expected, because of the smaller volume available for the valve to draw from downstream of the regulator.... If your shot count is too small, you likely have too much hammer strike for the regulated pressure, and if you didn't change that when you installed the regulator, that is almost certainly the case....
What are you trying to accomplish?....

30 consistant shots at 900-950 fps with these heavier JSB pellets.
I just opened AA up again, replaced orings, set pressure to 125 bar, and got aprox 900 fps readings for 10 shots with 15,9gn pellets. Its getting dark so no more testing could be done. Hammer preload cant be changed (different spring ok, or different hammer, these ones are FAC stock).

disregard the first shot, it might be a bad reading. the rest are pretty close. my hw with factory reg has a spread within 15 fps, so i think this one is working properly. but obviously I should put reg pressure down to 100 or 105. 125 is too high. gonna do it tomorrow :D
