Title: QB valve removal - How to?
Post by: PackingHeat on March 02, 2013, 03:14:29 PM
How do I remove the QB79 valve. When I get it stripped down to where I have access to the slotted aluminum cap and valve retention screw, how do i get the valve out. I removed the retention screw but can't seem to get the valve to slide out. What am I missing here? Is there something else retaining it other than the single screw or is it just a really tight fit. What is the best procedure?

Thanks for the link. I could not remember that this was in the library and not a post.

You can pick up a 8 inch flathead screwdriver at Harbor Freight for about 3 bucks that will remove the valve pretty well.
