Haven't seen anyone post about it yet. Just wondering if anyone has read about the announcement of a new synthetic offering. Here's a pict.

Been thinking about getting a .22 prior to the announcement. Not in a hurry so I guess I will take the wait and see approach. Finally got a tank setup prior to Christmas for my Rogue so it will fit in nicely and be cheaper to shoot. Also a lot lighter to carry.

Smart move to offer the Mrod in a lightweight synthetic stock. Such a popular hunter... I wonder if it will cost a little bit less as well? Or more for that matter lol. I can't see the whole caption in the picture, does it tell the weight?

Crosman originally had pricing on its website for the new mrods, and they did indicate about $100 more. It has since been removed, and hopefully they are reconsidering the pricing. While never stated, I suspect the wood versions to be phased out in a year or so.

I hope you're right Fuzzy. 100.00 more is a little to digest. If they do phase out the wood stocks, then hopefully we all can get one at a phased out price.
