If you live in such an area, make some snowballs to shoot at. They are some of the best reactive targets I have come across, with a large snow-explosion if you hit them dead center and a satisfying POP at the same time! Give it a try.

If it snowed down here, going out shooting would be the last thing on my mind. Staying inside and keeping warm sound about right.
Now shooting ice cubes in the summer is a whole different story. Your on a timer. Shoot them all before they melt.

just took a look outside, but didn't see any snow,
I did see the thermometer though... it said 75 degrees.
HMmmmm, now what to do ?
climbed up on top of the house to look towards Mt. Baldy... Yep,... seen a little bit on the top of the mountain, but that's a good 50 miles away. Seemed like a awful long way to go, just to get a snowball to bring back to my yard to shoot.
oh well, ya win some, ya lose some.
hehehehe

I live in New England and I will gladly sell you some snow. Cheap. Lol.

I will take all the snow you can send. We need any kind of water we can get here in Texas. When it gets to the point that I can't make ice tea, I'm moving.

What flavor snowballs work best?

Moonshine, Uptown, Fruitpunch, RockandRye, Grapefruit, Cola, and Red Pop.
I like Red Pop the best.

get some constuction marking paint and enjoy

Sounds fun but I'm a little too close to the equator. I've really enjoyed paintballs for the same reason. Unmistakable "pop" when you nail them.

My daughter is 26 yrs and really wants to see snow. Will probably have a family trip one day to looks for some. May have to bring some back when the time comes.

When I was a kid, Every year I would try to bring some snow back to Texas from Colorado. I think my dad always played a trick on me by switching the snow for water.
He never would fess- up to it. ;)

Has to be warm tho for snowballs. They are darn hard to make when it is 10 below and colder. Much easier is shooting icesickles off the side of the grain bins.

Been a while since it snowed here (2004) and that was an anomaly. I do shoot out of date eggs from time to time, they explode with a very satisfying splat!
-
The snowball targets didn't work for me.....tried that a few years ago. The pellet(s) just go straight through. Maybe I should've made smaller snowballs....mine were about baseball size.
Did shoot at ice cubes in the summer.....it was neat when we hit them and they explode.

No such targets here in the tropics! :-\
